Numerous early cultures believed, because of the stone's likeness to the color of blood, that rubies held the power of life. Among European royalty and the upper classes, rubies were thought to guarantee good health, wealth, wisdom, and success in love. They've become some of the most sought-after gems. And, I mean, who doesn't love diamonds as well?
A superb Victorian triple stack band ring featuring two rows of diamonds forming an envelope around a central line of old mine cut diamonds, this gorgeous ring circa 1890 is in 18ct yellow and white gold with a most wonderful on hand presentation, it creates a confection for whomever chooses to wear it, alone or with other rings. A sumptuous find for the victorian ring lover.
