Glass is such a remarkable material— capable of becoming whatever material its crafter is savvy enough to replicate. In this instant, a frosted rainbow moonstone is perfectly counterfieted in paste, with a pink/green foil and hand carved rendering. In a stunning presentation, glass’s role is reprised, this time in the form of “diamonds” around the central “moonstone.” These paste “diamonds” (brilliant faceted glass) are set with foils, all in a pinchbeck metal.
