It was believed that the stone has healing properties: that it can relieve pain, reduce inflammation and make you breathe easier.
A very special pink gold set lapis ring with a halo of sweet pearls, this ring features a a tri-partite constructed band with a gorgeous pyramid set lapis stone. This ring is likely of French origin, for English export, as this carat of gold was not permissable for sale in France in the 1870’s, when this treasure was constructed.
