A rare and special snake brooch, we do not often find serpent jewelry in situ, so to find this sweet snake in her natural habitat, wrapped around a leaf, is such a delight. An Early to Mid 19th century find, we are very excited to bring her to market.


Materials and Features: Sterling, Turquoise, garnet, pearl

Age/Origin: early to mid 19th C English

Marks: None

Measurements: 18.2 grams, 2.75" length

 Condition: Very good! This beautiful turquoise snake is in great condition with her perfectly undulating body wrapped around an ivy leaf with pearl stem. No noticeable replacements or repairs. Some minor discolorations as is to be expected with historical turquoise pavé!
