An extremely special 18ct Victorian locket of the Archaeolgical revival period, this memorial locket just checks all the boxes. In near mint condition with hand done etching and engraving, the interior memorializes John Dixon; born Jan 16th, 1829, died October 10th, 1896. Sentimental pieces like this remind us of the importance of memory; John’s 67 years are here memorialized, as we recall him on what is the 125th anniversary of his passing.
Materials and Features: 18ct gold, emerald, blue enamel, fully etched with inscription on interior.
Age/Origin: English; 1896
Marks: Engraved interior
Measurements: 4.3 grams, 1.20" length
Condition: Near Mint. A nearly invisible repair on the reverse, overall, a spectacular find. We love this special piece and know it is bound for a loving home!
Please view and inspect any photos closely. We endeavor to fully disclose all condition information clearly and concisely, however, please note that what qualifies as excellent condition for historical jewelry differs from modern and contemporary pieces; please take the age of the piece into account when examining the piece.
