A rare 5.51-carat rose-cut sapphire of outstanding blue saturation is bezel set as the star of this fleur-de-lis pendant, accented by .89 carats of supporting diamonds, presented on an 18ct white gold chain!
Never before have we had a rose-cut sapphire, and I will admit, I was struck by the beauty of the stone when I fist saw it. The “Parisienne balcony” scrollwork on the reverse of the pendant is a special secret for the wearer to knowingly indulge in the memory of, while enjoying the jewel. Not to be outdone, the fleur-de-lis detail at the top of the pendant, which functions as the bale, brings a note of historical ornament to this gorgeous vintage piece. Completed with The 18-inch chain keeps the piece easy to wear, all in 18ct white gold. Circa 1990–2000.
