What is not to love in a lavish foiled topaz brooch, which converts into a pendant at a moment's notice??
Produced around 1830, when the Baroque revival of the 19th century was sweeping through English jewelry, this lovely Georgian era brooch is crafted in 15-16 karat yellow gold repoussé work. Vibrant pink foiled Imperial Topaz stones glow from within their settings. Each stone has been backed with pink foil, intensifying the color of the topaz. The original topaz drop, which is so rare to find, adds to the intensity of the baroque revival detail.
