A superb Georgian pearl-work brooch in 15ct— this rare gem-set jewel is a text book example of the finest quality that early 19th century craftspeople could create.  A massive amethyst set in pink and purple foil creates the radiating centerpiece of this brooch, cupped by a hand carved mother of pearl base, to which hundreds of seed pearls are hand attached— creating a luminous, glowing, lace-work effect. I couldn’t be more enamored of this gorgeous brooch!
