This a rare brown pressed paper, carved crystal, wax flower and board Napoleon III period jewelry box features a beveled, curved top and wonderful glass painted features under the crystal top. I’ve never seen so lovely a piece with beautiful funerary work, a fine finish and lovely floral details. Recently acquired in Paris.
