A superb, weighty platinum Art Deco example, this captivating black pearl solitaire has enchants her audience. Rich with symbolism, the hand carved platinum shank features an elaborate wheat etching down either shoulder and delicate, small scale hearts radiating up each side in two stark rows, dissected by diamond encrusted triangles. To say that this masterpiece of a ring exemplifies the highly detailed simplicity of the Deco period would be an understatement. The luminous luster of the black pearl seems to shapeshift in different light: the lavender tones glow by candle, the golden ochre shades glisten in natural light, while the sage green sheen radiates in simple kitchen lighting. We are certain that she will be a collection mainstay for whichever lucky curator acquires this rare jewel.
