Converted from a vintage earring, perfectly married to a golden shank in the Georgian style, this ring is as much history as it is fantasy. The design, a twisting abstract construction, almost resembles a snake emerging from his basket, while the snake charmer plays his pungi flute. Then, just as we expect to hear the hiss of the creature, a beautiful flower blooms! Some have also suggested that it looks like an octopus. Whatever you see in this delightful design, it is sure to garner much attention and admiration.
Georgian jewelry is known for its labor-intensive craftsmanship and metalwork. The detail on the shank is exemplary of the Georgian times and trends in regards to jewelry and adds so much overall beauty to the piece. Truly the cherry on top.
