A wonderful pair of Victorian black enamel earrings, circa 1840. Sensual scrollwork details frame a central black enamel panel on each earring that has been studded with colet set pearls. Seashell tops perfectly balance downturned lotus motifs. In warm, luxuriant 15ct, this beautiful pair of English earrings will be an iconic addition to any collection.

Condition: Excellent for such a rare, old pair of earrings. Some minor wear to the enamel, but overall, quite excellent with a glowing quality to the 15k gold.
