A wonderful, sentimental pair of hair earrings circa 1820 with a most compelling, architectural shape-- evocative of a small chandelier, meant to swing just below the wearer's jawline. A wonderful duo with a sculptural treatment of the extremely finely braided hair, they beg to redefine the intersection of textile, gold work, and wearable art in sentimental miniature of the early 19th century.
