French jewels of the 19th century are wide and varied in their form but none tantalize me quite like those that strive to render a textile in precious metal, as was one of my favorite intersections of fashion and eternal bauble en-vouge between the 1850's-60's. This magnificent emerald and diamond bow may be French, or otherwise European from the era and absolutely delights the senses with her large central pearl and 44 emeralds, and 46 diamonds. Circa 1855, this sterling and 18ct treasure will be coveted in whatever collection she joins.
