Outrageously Rare perfect pink sardonyx cameo with pearls and diamonds— Circa 1870 but with a most modern look, this starkly geometric jewel seems half a century ahead of its time, wtih forshadowed deco elements like the protruding star shapes that create a delicious movement herin. The central cameo seems to be an androgynous portrait of a palid bust, and is in excellent condition. But perhaps my favorite detail is the massively oversized opening and closing bale, and fully closed back setting. Incredibly rare to find.
