A rare, luxurious Victorian slide chain, this exceptional 13” chain has surprised me at every turn. Firstly, the peculiar rich yellow color of the gold- the archaeological revival detail of the links, creating a gorgeous spherical shape that interlocks so beautifully at each station, and with not only taille d'epargne enamel on the slides, but additionally on the spherical terminals- it is truly a Victorian jewelery couture chain. A wonderful find all around-- it will be a well worn and well loved chain in any collection! Can also be worn open at a 25" length.
