Perfume links have become popular among collectors due to their fascinating original usage, which was to perfume the body. Strong smelling oils or waxes would be pressed into the open compartments in the center links.

One can use it for its original purpose today or simply appreciate the orientalist design that led to these in their original period. Extremely elusive to find, this extraordinarily pink example boasts open perfume stations.
