This incredibly rare piece is worthy of museum display. This outstanding Georgian ring reminds us that the past occasionally lovingly hands us artifacts unscathed by time, decades and then centuries merely brushing past. We are stunned at the pristine condition of this delicate finger adornment and are honored to bring it to you.
In 18ct, this first class ring will be a landmark addition to any collection that celebrates not only the beauty of foiled jewels but the first wave of archaeological revival as well. Containing 4 dreamy pale rose-de-france amethysts which benefit from pink foils in the classic English manner and surrounded by early 19th century cannetile work, made popular by French post-Napoleonic styles of the 1810’s, this elegant piece is much more than an accessory, but an agent of time.
Materials and Features: 18ct, rose-de-france amethysts
Age/Origin: English, 1810-1820
Measurements: Size 6, 2g
Condition: Beautiful condition. Small spots of minor wear to some of the more delicate wirework
Please view and inspect any photos closely. We endeavor to fully disclose all condition information clearly and concisely, however, please note that what qualifies as excellent condition for historical jewelry differs from modern and contemporary pieces; please take the age of the piece into account when examining the piece. Minor age wear is typical and to be expected for antique and vintage jewelry.
