A rare snake pendulum pendant circa 1860, this Archaeological Revival pendant features a particularly fine rendering of the serpent that clutches her dark chocolate, agate egg.
With a smart, geometric top, the pendant features a snake coiled six times around the agate teardrop. The serpent features two boule-shaped eyes and a smiling open mouth. The details are perfectly in line with the bold features of this era.
