Oh a rose cut garnet you say? Now you have my full attention! A rare 18ct Georgian morning glory ring with the most wonderful inversion set garnet circa 1830- this beautiful ring would be a delicious addition to any collection with its buttery gold and that morning glory decorated bezel that rings of this period are especially prized for. With a square shape and beautiful quality, I love the shape of the setting and the lovely split shoulders.
Materials: Garnet. 18ct,
Measurements: Ring size 6, 1.9g
Condition: A superb example, in excellent condition; as above mentioned, the garnet is likely a loving replacement! Some solder to one shoulder, see pics for details!
Please view and inspect any photos closely. We endeavor to fully disclose all condition information clearly and concisely, however, please note that what qualifies as excellent condition for historical jewelry differs from modern and contemporary pieces; please take the age of the piece into account when examining the piece. Minor age wear is typical and to be expected for antique and vintage jewelry.
