One of the greatest cameos we’ve ever had the pleasure of handling, this extremely rare three figure jewel features Venus dancing with putti, and (likely cupid to the left.)

They make music as they move, the cherub to the right clutches a lyre, as she holds a tambourine, and cupid grips an open drum. The trio sways as Venus’ diaphanous dress echoes her movements in silken arabesques. The outrageous blue enamel ribboning  that encircles the cameo is unforgettable.
