Extended Watch “Giletiere” Chain of the Louis Philippe Period, circa 1850
A special French “Giletiere,” chain with a beautifully decorated links, hand worked and finely wrought. This outstanding French chain has been lovingly extended with bold 18ct links to create a wearable longer-length necklace, with a very thick scroll train of stations at the front and a more minimalist simple chain at the back. The styling possibilities for this chain are endless!
