This exquisite French pair, circa 1880, remains housed in its original cream silk-lined box with fine grey leather exterior, and shine like the day they were first produced. As delicate double daisies, their upper blooms formed by Old Mine cut diamonds (approximately .22 carats each), warm in tone and softly glowing, surrounded by halos of rose cut diamonds. Suspended below are two perfectly matched natural saltwater pearls, measuring 5.4 mm, their soft cream bodycolor and gentle orient lending a quiet, refined luminosity. These pearls have been certified by the Laboratoire Français de Gemmologie (LFG), confirming their natural origin—an increasingly scarce distinction.
The total diamond weight across the pair is approximately .85 carats, and the earrings are crafted entirely in 18ct yellow gold, with French dormeuse wires bearing double hallmarks.
