One of the most outstanding brooches I’ve ever seen, this incredible French treasure is a fully articulated example of stellar Napoleon III period Craftspersonship. I have always loved the work of this period for its clever construction, and this brooch really fits the bill. Articulated garnet drops swivel and shiver as the wearer moves, creating a compelling presentation as a brooch, in the hair, or on a chain. A once-in-a-lifetime piece!
Marks: Platinum and 18ct French hallmarks in three places.
