Simple and stunning!
Crafted circa 1930 in a delicious 14 carat gold, this Emerald and Diamond line bracelet is a magnificent Art Deco example. The design of this bracelet is classic yet glamorous, with gorgeous wheat etchings on the gold, and vibrant miniature emerald and diamond stones arranged in the center. The square shape of the stones is particularly fun, and further emphasizes the geometrical Art Deco sensibilities.
Wheat motifs were a staple of most Art Deco jewelry designs, as the grain symbolized prosperity, abundance, and wealth. It is also influenced by the neoclassical overtones of the Greco-Roman revival that emerged again during the Deco.
This is a timeless piece with a beautiful construction, and an effortless every-day-wear option. A sublime addition to any antique jewelry collection!
