A glowing opal and ruby pendant in the compass format, I haven't had one with such fine stones in years. Perfect for a July child born under the sign of Cancer, the pendant has both the sweet, berry-rich ruby and the oceanic opal herein finely rendered. Glowing Australian opals with strong tones of pink, lavender, hot green and subtle sunset orange are paired with what might be Burmese rubies — no evidence of heat treatment. The stones form a lovely compass shape, and I know many hearts will break when this one is gone!
