A most whimsical Victorian treasure!
Crafted ciraca 1870 in a delightful 9 carat gold, this Diamond Head Fox conversion ring is truly one of a kind. Featuring a beautifully rendered fox head, encrusted with the most darling miniature diamond. The star of the show however, are the fox’s ruby eyes, which glimmer mysteriously at you – almost as if it has a life of its own!
The resulting silhouette is fun and whimsical, with a dash of glamour! This ring also speaks to the recreational activities of the Victoria era. As hunting grew in popularity as a pastime for the aristocracy and common folk alike, so did the emergence of hunting jewelry.
The cult of hunting jewelry was hungry for fun in the 19th century, and this diamond talisman is a perfect way to communicate your vulpine intellect. A truly beautiful treasure.
And a wonderful addition to any antique jewelry collection!
