A dazzling Edwardian lavaliere featuring natural stones of Amethyst and Aquamarine, in a cascading liquid-like drip from a ring of rose cut diamonds. This kind of lavaliere necklace was popularly paired with a new form dropped waist blouson dresses silhouette that was en vogue in the 1910’s-20’s.
A form of toi-et-moi jewel design, the circlet lavaliere was often a gift, set with the giver and receiver’s birthstones. Its streamlined design allows for the sentimentality of the 19th century to effortlessly transition into the 20th, through new fashionable jewel forms such as this one.
