A gorgeous cushion cut amethyst ring in 14k, this beautiful example features a Victorian face which was once part of a brooch, fitted with a wonderful casting of an art deco Egyptian revival shank circa 1920. Wonderfully married to the band, the royal swagged prong setting around the amethyst is a standout of Victorian craftspersonship and fine engineering- the cushion cut of the amethyst is all the more alluring, as we rarely see this shape in a large scale rose-de-france tone like this!
