A stunning Belle Epoque treasure, with a timeless beauty that’s certain to turn heads!
Crafted circa 1880 in a lovely 9 carat gold, this French rose-cut diamond and pearl bangle is a lovely 19th century example, with a design that’s very in line with French Napoleon III period pieces.
The construction of this piece is impeccable, with the gold rendered into delicate, thin connected bangles – creating a perfect gallery for the rose-cut diamonds to sit on. The star of the show is the sizable pearl in the center of the bangle, serving as the centerpiece of a flower-shaped motif. It creates a beautiful flair to an already glamorous silhouette.
This bangle is one of the best we’ve ever had, and we especially love that it has a bit of acid bloom; the top layer of gold is a rich yellow, with a pink undertone. Another fun detail is an inscribed A at the clasp. How delightful!
A lovely addition to any antique jewelry collection!
