A rare Victorian tassel chain featuring a most peculiar basket weave, this wonderful necklace has always been just that; a necklace. While I am always excited to discover and curate former watch chains and long guards that have served many purposes in their vampire-long lives, I love finding jewels that have sometimes served only one function-- and do so extremely well. This beautiful archaeological revival chain features faceted links and posts that culminate beautifully in an organically textured tassel with 8 fishbone braid strands that stream down, and a large C clasp at the back. An extremely special chain that will absolutely wow whatever collection it joins.
