The amethyst stones are truly exceptional: their lustrous lavender hue glimmers in the light, and they are set against the chain in lovely open-back riviere style settings. Below the central drop stone sits the beautiful gold construction of a dove, wings spread open as if cradling the amethyst in its feathers. Condition: Excellent, married condition. The central drop and central stone are likely part of a late georgian suite (1830), the four surrounding stones circa 1850-1860 settings. The chain is a later addition, and has two O rings for both a 16” and 18” wearing options.
