Jewelry and other forms of art during the Edwardian era were elaborate and decorative. Though the 20th century had begun, the Victorian influence was still strong, and this was reflected in the era’s classic, feminine patterns.
This bezel set ring with y split shoulders, circa 1910, is a sizable size 9, bezel set with milgrain details, and perfect for any collection. Known as the stone of compassion, peridot calms anger by giving renewal to all things. When set in gold, this gem was said to protect the wearer from nightmares.
