Vibrant and unique! This remarkable late 19th century pendant is a true feast for the eyes, featuring a stunning two-toned enamel, delicate rose-cut diamonds, and an opulently designed letter “J” in the center.  This piece is actually a stick-pin-to-pendant conversion, which one would never guess just by looking at it!

Crafted circa 1880 in 18 carat pink gold and sterling silver, this piece is a fine English example. The J initial in the center is designed in a scrolling Gothic style typeface, which creates a stylish juxtaposition against the vibrant blue enamel backing. Halo’ing the blue enamel are the sweet miniature rose-cut diamonds, adding a touch of starry glamour.  The pendant is topped by a sterling silver crown motif set against red enamel and featuring intricate detailing. The result is a glittering silhouette that feels truly fit for a royal!

The most notable detail on this piece is the lovely transition between the red and blue enamel. A super special treasure that would make a lovely addition to any antique collection!
