Thirty-seven Old European cut diamonds of .42–.43ct each, totalling 15.83 carats, in warm 18ct yellow gold — the rivière for the lover of a modern tilt on a historical classic. Collet setting in vibrant, buttery 18ct yellow gold is effortlessly classic, yet terribly modern with some chain spacing, keeping this rivière generously below $20k. The yellow gold setting gives the OEC stones a warmth and approachability that white metal cannot — the setting glows like the sun and the stones sparkle therein. And the 17-inch length is all the more rare and lovely. A perfect meeting of historical and modern.
