18ct White Gold Diamond Rivière with 2.16ct Old European-Cut Center, 7.73ctw
Oh, to wear the sun glinting on a river, interpreted as diamonds around the neck… Is that not the original sentiment of the rivière? This example does a wonderful job of executing the object's thesis.
For the diamond lover in search of graduation over matriculation, this rivière provides an excellent compromise; rose, got diamonds, stud, the majority of the neck, while the pinnacle yields an exceptional 2.16ct OEC, in the N/O color range. The warmth of the diamond creates a singular depth – to my eye, this is an entirely original, beautiful OEC that was likely a family, diamond, given to the jeweler to build the piece around. I am wretchedly jealous of the new owner, who proudly extracts this rivière from their jewelry box every morning!
