Glamorous and darling!
We’re so excited to bring to market this delightful French navette ring. During the Victorian era, navette or “little ship” rings were highly en vogue, serving as the perfect statement pieces for elegant nights out or celebrations.
Crafted circa 1789-1800 in a lovely 18 carat gold, this piece is a perfect example of the ionic 18th century navette design. The construction is impeccable, creating an elevated silhouette with a whimsical flair. Also notable is the spectacular large foiled amethyst stone in the center of the ring, which is halo’d by an arrangement of the most delicate miniature pearls. The vibrancy of the amethyst immediately captures the gaze – one could easily get lost in its hypnotic purple visage.
An interesting detail is that this ring likely once held a hairlocket, before being updated with this gorgeous amethyst stone.
A refined and elegant treasure, this would make a magical addition to any antique jewelry collection!
Materials and Features: 18ct, amethyst, pearl

Please view and inspect any photos closely. We endeavor to fully disclose all condition information clearly and concisely, however, please note that what qualifies as excellent condition for historical jewelry differs from modern and contemporary pieces; please take the age of the piece into account when examining the piece.
