Rings are some of the most timeless adornments. And this gorgeous English diamond daisy ring is no exception. Crafted in 18 carat gold, this ring is unique in the fact that it emulates an authentic Georgian ring – but was in actuality crafted in the 1930’s.
The design is a beautiful testament to the early 19th century revival, featuring a classically Georgian construction with fine detailing and impeccable artistry. Just marvel at the magnificent foiling along the shoulders, and the delicate design of the shank. A glance at the inside of the shank reveals a beautiful, classic 20th century hallmark engraved into the gold.
The gallery on this ring is also exceptional, as it is decidedly botanical in design and creates the perfect mounting for the stars of the show – stunning old European cut diamonds.
The glimmering diamonds are arranged in such a way that they resemble a bejeweled daisy, creating the sweetest silhouette that possesses the perfect touch of whimsy. This ring is all open back, which also elevates the silhouette.
No matter how you wear this ring, it simply lusters. The diamonds create a dewy glow that really captures the Georgian sentiment – even though authentic Georgian rings were usually constructed with rose-cut diamonds. To have this ring designed with old European diamonds is truly such a treat.
A wonderful addition to any antique jewelry collection!
