A showstopping Art Nouveau treasure!
Crafted circa 1890 in a glimmering 18 carat gold, this French pearl and sapphire ring is an exceptional 19th century example. Featuring beautiful dainty sapphire stones and a wonderful sizable pearl in the center, this ring has a beautiful construction – with a silhouette that is feminine and glamorous, but also eclectic with this navette shape.
There are lovely naturalist elements to this ring, with leaves and foliate motifs that allude to the high Art Nouveau aestheticism celebrated during the final decade of the 19th century in Paris.
A wonderful specimen, that would make a lovely addition to any antique collection!
