Napoleon III Diamond and Pearl Corsage Brooch
An incredible corsage brooch, likely from the court of Empress Eugénie features foil-backed rose cut diamonds, pearls, and black enamel details—all set in 18ct gold with fringe to rival your favorite chandelier. Likely a court jewel from the early 1860s, with stylistic nods to the archaeological revival trend of the day. Presented in its original box, it would have once adorned a silk gown and spun by its wearer till dawn on a parquet dance floor.
