Timelessly elegant!
This Diamond and Emerald brooch is a truly gorgeous 19th century American example. Crafted circa 1870 in a lovely 14 carat pink gold, this brooch exhibits fretwork: an architectural element that was made predominantly in San Francisco in the 1870’s. This is notable because the 1870’s was the height of the Aesthetic Movement, which held a significant influence on architectural and jewelry design.
Indeed, this brooch displays all the hallmarks of a jewel of its era; it can be worn alone as a statement collar pin, or as a combo with an Eloise. However you choose to wear it, there’s no doubt that this piece will be a beloved mainstay of your personal collection.
A perfect treasure for the discerning antique collector!
