Dainty and darling!
This sweet early 20th century American pearl brooch is a feast for the eyes. Crafted circa 1910 in 14 carat yellow gold, this brooch is a fine example of American Art Nouveau design. Just look at that brooch back! The snaking infinity pattern creates the most elegant and whimsical silhouette; the infinity pattern perhaps also alludes to abundance and prosperity.
The stars of the show however are these stunning Mississippi river pearls! Each stone is asymmetrical and uniquely shaped, and arranged together, they almost resemble tiny glimmers of sand – or perhaps more curious, tiny sets of teeth! A true Victorian adornment in every way.
With its delicate craftpersonship and sweet visage, this brooch is a lovely addition to any antique jewelry collection!
