Often a fob held a pocket watch which was swung from a chain, attached to the vest pocket on the opposite side of the vest. These fob chains often had small pendants, as seals, and these pendants themselves became known as fobs! Fobs have since often been used as bold and stunning pendants on your favorite chain.
A beautiful, simple Georgian fob with a foiled reverse, this example has the romance we love in a centuries-old jewel. Circa 1810, in solid pink 9ct gold.

Please view and inspect any photos closely. We endeavor to fully disclose all condition information clearly and concisely, however, please note that what qualifies as excellent condition for historical jewelry differs from modern and contemporary pieces; please take the age of the piece into account when examining the piece.
