This French Perpignan Garnet Riviere with Matching Earrings would be at home in an Anna Wintour collection or draped along the neck of Persephone herself! Crafted circa 1840’s in a striking 18 carat gold, this riviere oozes mystique and romanticism – no thanks to these wonderful perpignan garnet stones.

Arranged along the 18-carat chain in a choker-like design, these stones are the largest we’ve seen in a while – which makes for a striking and feminine silhouette, for these blood-red garnets gleam with the richest red hue. Adding to the gothic romanticism are the detachable garnet drops at the center, creating a “blood drip” silhouette.

The earrings are equally stunning, as they are perfectly matched in shade to the Perpignan garnets, and display a delicate tear drop at the bottom. A coveted jewel that would make a splendid addition to any antique collection!
