Wedding bangles have a long history - one would be presented with the first one on the day of engagement, and the second one on the day of marriage! Herein we find a single one of the most luxuriant wedding bangles we ever did see! Measuring a massive 1” in width on the wrist, the bangle features scrolling ivy leaves rendered in black enamel extend on the front and back sides of this --so beautiful and rare to find. The ivy leaves were known to celebrate life, and in some instances, having a religious undertone of immortality-- the bond of love in another life after the one we enjoy here on earth.

Age/Origin: c. 1870’s-80’s American
Measurements: Perfect for a wrist 6.25” and smaller
Weight: 22g of 14ct gold
Condition: Very good- there is a minor dent to one side, only noticed in certain light, minor enamel loss as expected.
