A remarkably heavy Victorian chain in all original condition- the orb chain is exceptionally heavy with two extremely rare clasps. Nearly impossible to find links like this with a repousse texture at the center of each and every link, there are undertones of the 19th century renaissance revival (in line with the Holbeinesque designs of Carlo Guiliano and John Brogden) are prevalent.
Beyond the historic significance, this chain boasts a singular wearbility. With one C clasp of .75", and another with the rare "invisible bolt" mechanism, this chain is a gorgeous example of Victorian art that would make a steadfast addition to any collection.
