A rare English pendant in 18ct yellow gold with a silver top sparkles with twinkling rose-cut diamonds surrounding a luminous mother-of-pearl center. On the reverse, one finds a glass locket back, still containing its original woven hair—an intimate memento preserved for well over a century.

The lavish bow motif is in keeping with the fashions set by Queen Alexandra of Denmark, consort to King Edward VII, who helped define the taste of the Edwardian court.
