In perfect 18 carat gold, the setting is classic 19th century Ancient Egyptian Revival with a beautifully marbled amethyst. Not enough can be said about this this ancient Egyptian Middle Kingdom scarab!

The Middle Kingdom spanned from 2065-1650 BCE, and this scarab example is in wonderful condition – still so vibrant and rich in hue, that no matter how you hold your hand, the jewel glimmers and glows. So beautifully constructed!
