There are few so excellent examples of Victorian craftspersonship as the stickpins of the period. Sometimes we forget that stickpins were an integral part of 19th century wardrobe for both men and women, in great prevalence for the former. When I find a superb pin, I get very excited about the quality of how it was constructed. Here converted to a ring, a beautiful cotton candy australian opal is set with exceptional claw prongs and bezel set diamonds on compass axis. We chose to set the central component East/West, to allow for perfect stacking and keep things interesting... All in 14ct gold.
