A great joy of 1960’s Victorian revival pieces are moments in which an object embodies not only the themes of the era it mimics- but when it concurrently speaks to forthcoming fashions. I love how this enamel pansy band revives the popular pansy tradition that chintz and floral ephemera so loved in the 60’s- but it speaks to the forthcoming flower child era that the late 60’s-early 70’s is so known for today. Beautifully finished with bezel set diamond centers on each of the pansies, this piece will be a beloved, life long addition to any collection.
